CANADA STUDENT VISA

Canada enjoys a special relationship with India. And, as a result, each year, thousands of students from India fly to Canada to do their higher studies there and applying for a Canada Student Visa is a task.

While planning to study in Canada, it is good and very essential indeed that students pay attention to different facets like top universities, tuition fee and admission deadlines, etc. But still, as a student , it will be better for you, if you also read up about Canada as a country ,its rules and regulations, history, geography, places of interest, food and work opportunities ,etc. However, you don’t have to be an expert on any of these topics.

And so, one of the things to take care of is the study permit, for which, you will have to apply before moving to Canada. And do you know that as a student travelling to study in Canada, you require a special study permit issued by the Government of the country? To be specific, you need a Canadian Student Visa (sanctioned for international students coming over to Canada) to pursue education in Canada.

And Canada issues more than 15000 permits each year for its international students including the students from India. And this number is now four fold than what it had been a decade earlier. Each year, around 40,000 students are from India, apply for and get their Canada Student Visa,
